In addition to being a delicious intoxicant, mead (honey wine) has a long history of use in Northern European spiritual traditions and in herbal medicine. In this seminar we will discuss:

* Some of the mythology and archetypes associated with mead
* Entheogenic brews and “potions”
* Mead as an herbal delivery system
*“Honeymoon” – brewing in alignment with lunar cycles and astrological events
* Brewing as a tool for personal development

About Madame Ximon

Madame Ximon is an astrologer, tarot reader, fine artist, performing artist, and fashion designer living on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Madame Ximon is a member of the International Society for Astrological Research and is the official tarot reader for Full Moon events at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in New York. She is also co-founder and Creative Director for the TempleCon retro-futurist convention in Rhode Island, and an avid mead-brewer.

Madame Ximon is a green witch whose divinatory practice draws from multiple wisdom traditions to aid in the ongoing journey of the soul, and she combines astrology, tarot, runes, hermetic kabbalism, alchemical symbolism, and dream imagery in her visual art. She has studied and practiced divination arts for over two decades, focusing on deeply transformational personal and relationship readings, as well as working one-on-one with a select group of students.
