There are many Brithonic mermaids and water fae throughout mythology, folklore and even urban legend. In this class we will be taking an in depth look at the Mermaid Queen of Witchery and Mother of Monsters, Melusine. We will discuss Melusine through her mythology and folklore. We will discuss her in her role as Mermaid, Faery Queen, Dragon Woman, Saint, Shapeshifter and Queen. We will also delve into discussion about Devotions to her and Bath Rituals. Modern depictions and her role as a powerful Goddess of change in our times will also be discussed.

Annwyn Avalon is a Priestess, Artist, Dancer and Witch. Priestess and founder of Triskele Rose Witchcraft and She has been featured in magazines for her visual and performing art as well as placed in Belly Dance competitions. She is a Polytheistic Witch serving many gods, she researches and practices many forms of witchcraft including sea and water witchcraft, hedge riding, folklore, folk magic, priestess traditions, trance and oracular work. She has several degrees and certificates from Reiki to Bachelor Degrees, she has worked at ASU in an Ethnobotany internship Ritual Use of Plants and continues to study plants in a similar manner. Her work as a Priestess is in service to many gods and her community.
